A tea ceremony in Shinjuku Park

Japan is having their "Golden Week" right now. Everyone has around 5 days off. This park was packed with people snoozing in the shade with their blankets relaxing. The traditional tea house in the park offered a tea ceremony. Sue and I sat down at a long table while a lady in a traditional kimono dress offered a sweet rice snack and green tea. The cup is given to you in a circular fashion rotating the bowl clockwise in the palm of your hand ending with the most delicate bow. wow wow and amazing.
