Flight Stats
Thank you Frances for your generous gift of United miles to get us to this beautiful place!

Mostly we read and wrote in our journals. I got really homesick, cried then played a slideshow from my pda.
For the entire flight, we saw daylight the whole time so we were already jetlagging. Melissa's no-jetlag homeopathic remedy pills really helped. We didn't feel as exhausted and we adjusted to the time difference in 2 days.
Oh, and Nolen beat me by 4 ounces. His backpack weighed 29.2 pounds and mine was 29.6 pounds. We'll dump the heavy stuff in Manila and have it shipped home.
We also got yen at SFO which was a bad idea coz we got 96 yen per dollar vs. if we had just waited till we got to Tokyo, we would have gotten 104 yen per dollar. Ezra says you should always get money when you arrive at the country. Lesson learned. « hide more
