This was a very nice surprise. I reunited with my old babysitter and caretaker, Tessie. She is now 54 years old with 6 kids and 1 grandchild. I soaked up the time we had to catch up and I showed her many pictures of the family, including Vince (whom she never met because he was born in CA) and Leida (Lisa's baby girl). When she took care of me, I was very young, probably almost too young to really remember her. What I did remember was her eyes, gentle and soothing - then bits of memories started to come back.
