40 Cameras

We could not help but be the typical tourists, taking photos in the subway. In fact, the cameras probably caught us taking photos! There were cameras everywhere! I didn't count, but I'm sure the 40 included the hidden ones.

I'm sure the Patriot Act will one day mandate installation of surveillance cameras in all public places. This was a shocker to me since I had just finished reading 1984 by George Orwell. I felt like the book came to life in Singapore!
