What's cool about Perhentian Island Besar is that right off the beach from Perhentian Island Resort, turtles still come back to feed on sea grass on the sandy bottom. Boat loads of snorkelers come between 10am - 4pm skimming the water to spot turtles. We've gone out of our morning snorkel trips for a turtle watch till our fingers prune.
