Yep, as Lonely Planet stated, Kota Bharu showcased their markets really well. It was exactly how it looked in the postcards. We even took a postcard photo for ourselves. We walked around a bit but the strong scent of fish, chicken and other stuff got to us, we could not brave the rest of the walk. We did walk the second and third floors above the market, where all the spices, sweets and eatery stalls were located.
