Rice of the Gods

With a wonderful stroke of luck, we could not have picked better accomodation. There were spacious bungalows set among rice fields behind the Ubud's main strip and oddly enough it was called White House Bali. Felt more like Paradise Bungalows or something. Can't complain though, we made many friends, shopped, rested, ate local cuisine, learned Balinese, hiked Mt. Batur, dressed in Balinese wedding costume, took a cooking class, listened to gamalan and watched the Kecak and trance dance.
