Sahiwal Family

They call these the Sahiwal. Melissa and Jessica were kind enough to tell us alot about these special cattle. They were imported in Australia in 1950, chosen because they are tick resistant, heat tolerant, fertile, make excellent mothers, drought resistant, good milkers, quiet temperment, hybrid vigour when cross-breeding and adapts quickly.

Above all, they provide lean meat with even fat cover, hence they make a great steak!
