The Gili's (Gili Air, G Meno, G Trawangan) are set on the west side of the island of Lombok. We ended up at G Trawangan coz we wanted to spend some time with our new friends Craig, Shirley and Yasmin from the UK. It was fun chillin' out with them on the island.

G Trawangan had a Burningman feel to it. Once we stepped off the boat, there was faded techno music playing in the background, shaded rest huts set 3 foot above ground with big fluffy pillows crowded with tanned, grungy backpackers sipping tropical drinks. It was a strange feeling - for 5 minutes it actually FELT like we WERE at Burningman.
