This is Ena, our guide.

He has been working as a guide on Mt Rinjani for 5 years. Before you become a guide you have to work a couple of years as a porter carrying all the camping equipment and cooking the food. He has done this trail, many, many times, and still loves his job.

Would you believe that all the porters hike this mountain with flip-flops on?
