Ah, made it mentally intact.

We had a bloop at Sydney airport. They would not give us our boarding passes unless we showed proof that we had outbound tickets from NZ.
So, we bought tickets to Fiji. Too bad we wont actually be using those.

Anyway, we refunded the Fiji tickets and booked our outbound tickets for Bangkok on Nov 7th. We've got a month and a half to trot around kiwi land and we're very much looking forward to it.
