Suzanne's Dot Painting

Nolen and I decided to dabble on paint for an afternoon and attended the Anangu dot painting class. Not much dot made it to my 4x5 canvas but it sure felt good to paint.

The lizard, bird and snake symbols represent Anangu stories I've heard, the white footprints represent my journey and privilege to see, smell and touch Uluru, those squirmy worms were bush food I didn't get to try, the yellow-n-green flowers were honey grovelias that I did taste and the dotted rainbow was my hope that a rainbow would have shown itself when it rained the 3rd day we were there - but no rainbows.

Reflection . . .:
