It was a beautiful drive to Mt. Cook.

From a distance, you can already see what you were in for. The mountains were still covered with snow (yep, it was chilly), but our timing was perfect coz the sun was out! ALL OUT! so we took a short hike.

The next day, the wind kicked in, clouds hovered then it rained. We left mid-afternoon and headed for Lake Wanaka.
