Chiang Mai Kitchen Cooking School

We decided to go with this school from the dozen others you could choose from in Chiang Mai.
They picked us up from our hotel and brought us to their office to pick out the dishes we wanted to make then off to Thanin day market.

We decided to make, Pad Se Ew, Tom Yum Goong, green curry paste/green curry chicken, papaya salad, mango and sticky rice and tapioca with young coconut - all for 750 baht per person ($18.75US).

From the market, we drove 30 minutes in the countryside where they had a kitchen set up for about 10 students. The landscape was flat, surrounded by vegetable and spice garden and scattered fruit trees.
