Scoping out the oncoming traffic . . .

One thing that has really worked out for us when we arrive at a new place is to scope out the locals.

Do what the locals do and you'll be fine. We watched these guys cross the street with hundreds of oncoming motorbikes while we sat on a street corner eating our noodles.
